Née vers 1865, Elizabeth Blanche Clapham est la fille de John G. Clapham, notaire, et de Leonore Clapham.
Elizabeth Blanche Clapham et ses soeurs, Leonora et Henrietta, vivent à Québec. En 1893, les dames Clapham reçoivent de Margaret Black Stacey les bâtiments connus actuellement sous les noms de maison du Fort et maison James-Black.
Elle est décédée après 1916.
Elle avait épousé, en 1912, Edmund Burke Roche, fils de Edmund Burke Roche, baron de Fermoy, et de Elizabeth Caroline Boothy.
