United Church - Église Unie
L'assemblée congrégationaliste de Sherbrooke établie en 1835 érigea cet édifice en 1855. Conçu par l'architecte William Footner c'est un remarquable exemple d'architecture néo-classique, style très répandu au XIXe siècle en Nouvelle-Angleterre.
Reconnue pour sa valeur culturelle et patrimoniale, la partie extérieure de cette église a été classée en mai 1989 monument historique.
The Sherbrooke Congregational Society which was established in 1835 built this church in 1855. Designed by architect William Footner it represents one of the finest examples of the Greek Revival style of architecture which flourished in nineteenth century New England. Recognized for its historical and cultural significance the exterior of the building was so classified in May 1989.
