Description
1689 in memoriam 1939 - to the victims of the massacre of Lachine by the Iroquois, the night of the 4th and 5th, 1689. Near here... upon the habitation of the late Jean Michau were discovered the bones of the said Michau and his son Pierre, 15 years of age, also those of Albert Boutin, his wife's son. Marie Marchesseau, widow of Pierre Boutin, carried off, died in captivity.
1689 in memoriam 1939 - aux victimes du massacre de Lachine, par les Iroquois, la nuit du 4 au 5 Août 1689. Près d'ici... sur l'habitation de feu Jean Michau, nous avons trouvé les os du dit Michau, et de son fils Pierre, âgé de 15 ans, et d'Albert Boutin, âgé de 18 ans, fils de sa femme. Marie Marchesseau, veuve de Pierre Boutin, morte en captivité.
