Synthèse
Né en Écosse, Frederick John Macnab émigre au Canada en 1906 et devient l'assistant de William John Carmichael, l'architecte en chef pour la Compagnie de téléphone Bell du Canada. Ce dernier dessine les plans d'une centaine d'édifices pour la compagnie entre 1899 et 1927 et Macnab lui succède en 1927.
